Happy New Year!!! Cocoa Crinkle Cookies....

Seriously i cannot believe that 2014 is over. It was a year with lots of special moments along with good happenings and not so good ones. Hoping that 2015 is gonna swing by with more lovely endeavors. It was a wet christmas this year. It used to be white christmas usually.

I literally could not blog often like i used to couple of years ago. Having a toddler at home does not make it any better with lots of entertainment and the required attention :)  Iam also planning on posting more of toddler friendly recipes for the next year and also some quick fixing meals under 10 minutes. If any of you wish to tag along you are more than welcome to join. Happy 2015 Y'all!!!

Cocoa Crinkle Cookies

All purpose flour-1 1/4 cup
Room temperature butter-1/2 cup
Unsweetened cocoa powder-1/2 to 3/4 cup
Salt-1/4 tsp
Brown sugar-1 cup
Baking powder-1 1/2 tsp
Powdered sugar-1/4 to 1/2 cup

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs to it followed by the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Mix it thoroughly until soft dough forms. Take powdered sugar in a bowl. Prepare small balls out of the dough and flatten each of it to throw in the powdered sugar and coat it evenly. Spread the cookies on a baking sheet. Bake for about 13 minutes or until the cookies look like cracked up. Transfer to a wire rack to cool it off. Store the cookies in an airtight container and enjoy it. See you in 2015.
