Ingredients :
All purpose flour -3 cups
Water-As required
Salt-As required
Oil-2 tsp
Grated coconut-1/2 cup
Method:
Combine the above ingredients to make a tender dough. Make small balls out of it, roll them into rotis. Heat a skillet and cook the rotis until it is done. Cut them into pieces as in the pic and serve them with the desired side dish. Here iam posting the chilli soya chunks that makes a succulent side dish .
Chilli Soya Chunks :
Ingredients:
Soya chunks-2 cups
Melted butter-1 tbs
Chopped onions-1 cup
Chopped tomatoes-1 cup
Ginger garlic paste-3 tsp
Green chillies-2 nos
Oil-2 tbs
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Cinnamon powder-1 tsp
Cloves-4 nos
Cumin powder-1 tsp
Fennel seeds-1 tsp
Salt-As required
Method:
Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 45 minutes. Drain the water and place the soya chunks aside. Heat the oil in a skillet, throw in the ginger garlic paste followed by cinnamon powder and cloves. Later on add the onions and fry until it turns golden brown. Now add the tomatoes, green chillies, cumin powder, fennel seeds ,salt and the chilli powder. Saute it well. After few minutes put the soya chunks into it, make sure that it is mixed well. Pour the butter into it to get better aroma. As soon as the soya chunks is cooked, it can be served hot with the ceylon rotis. It would taste yum.
